SOPHIE
Sophie graduated with a BA -Bachelor in Dance at the dance academy from ArtEZ - Hogeschool voor de kunsten Arnhem (NL) in 2007.
She has worked with different choreographers/ companies like Katharina Horn, De Dansers, Gif-t, Theater de Plaats, Lex te Dorsthorst and Jonne Covers.
As a choreographer she developed different creations for the professional as well as the educational field.
Work was made and shown for different organisations, events and festivals like Festival Zwart, Festival d’Avignon, Muziekheater de Plaats and Sonsbeek Theater Avenue.
Sophie is working as a teacher and choreographer for ArtEZ Artisteducator in Dans Hogeschool Voor De Kunsten Arnhem.
In 2014 Sophie developed Art Release, which is a platform where young artists from different disciplines have the opportunity to present their new autonomous work.
